It’s no secret that Drake has a serious affinity for the game of basketball. He currently is the Global Ambassador for the Toronto Raptors. He also is enamored with Kentucky Basketball, which is led by coach John Calipari. So, it’s clear to see why Drake is so immersed in the basketball culture. In the past, Drake was Team LeBron.
Drake and LeBron had a very smooth relationship dating back to James’ Miami days. In 2012, Drake was photographed celebrating LeBron’s championship win in the club after the Heat walked away victorious in the Finals. Since LeBron’s return to the Cavaliers, Drake has been ultra competitive against his old pal. This year, he even threw shots at him on Instagram when his Raptors faced LeBron’s Cavs in the Conference Finals.
