"You wanna bumble with the Bee, huh?"
Lil Kim – “Big Momma Thang (Remix)” (1996)
Following Pac’s diss towards Notorious B.I.G. and his Junior Mafia crew (which included Lil Kim), Kim took a chance to shoot back at the Westcoast rapper. She didnt name any names, but her lyrics describing Pac’s recent shooting at Quad Studios did it for her.
“Oh yeah, who shot ya? / Who knows but they gotcha / Uh, fed up, uh, wet up, uh / Maybe next time your punk a** will keep your head up.”
Queen Latifah – “Name Callin’ Part 2” (1998)
Who knew Queen and Foxy had beef? In ’96, Foxy claimed that Queen Latifah came onto her. Understand, that around this time, Queen was making major moves not only in hip-hop, but also TV and film.
The Queen wasn’t having that and laid her frustration out on the track “Name Callin,” which was featured on the Set It Off soundtrack. Fox bit back with a remix of MC Lyte’s “10% Diss,” but Latifah shut sh*t down when she blew Fox’s head off with “Name Callin’ Part 2.”
“I don’t spit subliminals, no doubt / This way you don’t walk around wondering who the f**k I’m talkin’ ’bout / I’m not trippin’, I heard you rippin’ / But I’m into breaking b*tches, sending them back to their first career…stripping.”
Capone-N-Noreaga ft. Foxy Brown – “Bang, Bang” (2000)
About two years later, Foxy set her sights on Lil Kim. Their back and forth has been going on for years, still is til this day. It’s been rumored that the two stopped speaking once Fox spat these bars:
“You and Diddy, y’all kill me with that subliminal sh*t, b*tch / Why’s you frontin’ and kickin’ that street sh*t? / Please, impress me, go back to that freak sh*t / While your broke-a** was guzzlin’ nuts and sh*t, I was choppin’ the weights, leak and O.Z.s and sh*t.”
