Out the Closet
Tyler, The Creator is an interesting character. If you watch any of his interviews, you’ll see how unique his thought process is and how great of a personality he actually has.
He’s probably the most known member of the “Odd Future” group, all in thanks to his rap skills. Speaking of his rap skills… In his newest album, he may have spilled a secret that has been on his mind for a long time.
On July 6th, 2017, Tyler announced the name, track list and date for his fourth studio album, Scum F**k Flower Boy. The album is set to be released later this month on July 21st, but all the drama is starting now.
He recently dropped some new songs with one of his good friends from Odd Future, Frank Ocean, that might have been a little bit of subtle foreshadowing.
The lyrics to all the songs on Tyler’s new album came out recently, and one song is grabbing everyone’s attention. The track “Garden Shed” is the one in question. It seems obvious that he’s opening up about his hidden homosexual feelings, but you can be the judge of that for yourself.
As mentioned earlier, Tyler and Frank Ocean are great friends. Frank Ocean is famously open about his bisexuality, and Tyler makes a point of including him in the lyrics of his song.
Garden Shed, Garden Shed
In the song there are lines like:
“Garden shed, garden shed, garden shed
Garden shed for the garcons
Them feelings I was guarding
Heavy on my mind
All my friends I lost
They couldn’t read the signs
I didn’t wana talk and tell em’ my location
And I didn’t wana walk
Truth is, since you kid, I thought it was a phase
Thought it would be like the Frank poof, gone
But it’s still going on”
We think it’s pretty obvious what he’s saying here…
