Let’s just keep it real: Donald Trump is the worst president the U.S. has ever seen. During his time in office, he’s managed to do more bad than good; And his recent, ordered airstrike that took the life of general Qasem Soleimani is causing straight pandemonium amongst the American people. The threat of a possible war has Cardi B so on edge that the rapper is considering moving to Africa. And she’s serious.

Cardi continued with her revelation, tweeting, “Picking my tribe.” She then posted an altered photo of herself in traditional African garb. Fans immediately began tweeting altered photos of Cardi, Offset, and their daughter, Kulture, in the same type of attire. “Olayinka @OffsetYRN and Wife Khadijat @iamcardib with daughter Karimat @Kulture #GoldenGlobes,” a fan captioned the tweeted photo above.
Cardi’s claim to moving to the Motherland gained so much traction that it caught the attention of Nigeria’s government officials.
@iamcardib . As one in charge of the Diaspora for Ngr, We can’t wait to receive you again. Our doors are open, sister. And you need to talk a walk through the Door of Return in Badagry . It’s an indescribable experience . https://t.co/BjE2un0XfZ

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, replied to Cardi B on Twitter. “As one in charge of the Diaspora for Ngr, We can’t wait to receive you again,” she said. “Our doors are open, sister. And you need to talk a walk through the Door of Return in Badagry . It’s an indescribable experience.”
Bashir Ahmad, personal assistant of Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari, jokingly tweeted, “Nigeria vs Ghana, case closed. 🇳🇬🙌🏼.”
Though Cardi hasn’t stated whether she’s serious or not, she may have to reconsider her move to the Motherland, especially since she and Offset just bought a baller mansion.
