Sky and her son seem to have worked it out
It looks like Sky from Black Ink Crew has patched things up with her son. For real, this time.
The artist was trashed by her son after sharing a heartwarming image of the pair FaceTime-ing back in August. He accused her of being an absentee mother and made it known that, in spite of what one picture might tell you, things were not good between the duo. However, two new photos of Sky hanging out with her son in person seem to show that they are working on getting better.
Sky’s son is positively beaming in the two separate shots and things just might e looking up for Sky and her family.
All Bad, Just Two Months Ago
It’s worth re-visiting his rant against his mother, just so we can see how rapidly things have turned around.
“We only talked one time in a FaceTime,” he said, after the FaceTime photo began to spread.
“That doesn’t make up for the conversations we never had over the past 10 years. This picture was took while she was expressing how sorry she was as a mother and telling me what she was going to do to make it better. Hearing that after so many years could only make me smile and that’s when this picture was took and published without me even being told by my own mother. What kind of low down dirty shit is that? I couldn’t even get a phone call in jail or a letter to show that she cared. And when i saw the episode on Black Ink Crew where she said she was writing me a letter that was never even sent, when I witness that with my own eyes on the screen, I couldn’t do nothing but shake my head and let a tear fall.”
He also accused Sky of not being around to help him when he needed her most.
“I was released from jail without an ID and when I went to the family… I was told that my social security card had been lost. I spent two months struggling to get the information I needed just to get my ID,” he said. “No help was offered from my mom, not even recognition of me being alive until I did this interview.”
He accused Sky of only acknowledging him after he forced the issue by talking to the press. He questioned whether or not his mother would have acknowledged him had he not forced the issue by speaking about their relationship publicly.
“It made me wonder if I didn’t do this interview would she even recognize me in the same room?” he asked.

What a difference two months make. It’s just another photo, like the one that started this whole mess, but it looks promising.
In the new posts, Sky can be standing next to her son at a high school football game. He is wearing the uniform of Abilene High School in Abilene, TX and is all smiles with his arm around her.
“Thank you for letting me be your #1 fan,” she wrote.
