“I can’t wait to be back home by your side.”
Black Ink Crew star O’Sh*t welcomed a baby girl into the world in December of last year. The former inker — who goes by his government name of Richard Duncan now — showed off his pride and joy in an Instagram post. While we aren’t sure exactly when the Duncan clan got a little larger, we do know the latest addition is named Nova-Rae Rose.
We’re sure little Nova — who is Duncan’s fourth child — is happy with the decision that Duncan’s S.O. made for him, as pleaded with him to start using his real name and move away from the foul moniker. Under the name Duncan, he’s been back on the show and away from his baby’s mother for quite a while.
He shared how much he missed her in a recent Instagram post though.
“Being hundreds of miles away from this woman is draining me and i can’t wait to be back home by your side,” he wrote under a picture of his still-very-pregnant wife Nikki. However, it looks like Duncan came home just in time to welcome his little one into the world.
The birth of Nova-Rae is an interesting development because Duncan did everything in his power to hide the fact that his wife was pregnant from the cameras and his fellow Crew members. When that all boiled over in an argument last season, Duncan decided to opt out of the internet gossip cycle and step away from social media.
Check out his social sign-off, which he shared via Instagram, below:
“My bad if people feel offended by my actions but I am gonna just focus on what I have been. Which is doing what’s best for my family in real life. I will be stepping away from this social media for awhile and focusing on my family and business ventures. God bless you and your families.”
However, there’s nothing like a newborn to get you back in the picture-taking mood. So, Duncan is back at it again!
December 2017 wasn’t as joyous for everyone as it was for the Duncan family. During this same month, the rivalry between Dutchess and Sky played out across the tattoo reality show universe.
It all started after Sky’s FaceTime with her son went bad. The artist was trashed by her son after sharing a heartwarming image of the pair FaceTime-ing back in August 2017. He accused her of being an absentee mother and made it known that, in spite of what one picture might tell you, things were not good between the duo.
“We only talked one time in a FaceTime,” he said, after the FaceTime photo began to spread. “That doesn’t make up for the conversations we never had over the past 10 years. This picture was took while she was expressing how sorry she was as a mother and telling me what she was going to do to make it better.”
“Hearing that after so many years could only make me smile and that’s when this picture was took and published without me even being told by my own mother. What kind of low down dirty s**t is that?” he went on. “I couldn’t even get a phone call in jail or a letter to show that she cared. And when i saw the episode on Black Ink Crew where she said she was writing me a letter that was never even sent, when I witness that with my own eyes on the screen, I couldn’t do nothing but shake my head and let a tear fall.”
He also accused Sky of not being around to help him when he needed her most, saying, ““I was released from jail without an ID and when I went to the family… I was told that my social security card had been lost. I spent two months struggling to get the information I needed just to get my ID.”
