This should be good
Since conquering the strip club, the world of music videos, and the reality television industry, Blac Chyna has asked herself what she wants to take over next. The answer: hip-hop.
During an interview with XXL, the mom-of-two expressed her desire to start rapping. Blac Chyna spilled:
“What even made me start to think about this venture is like, hey, I’m already in the industry and I done kinda reached the highest of the things I was doing. I’m an entrepreneur, I have a shop, I have Lashed, I have 88 Fin, I done did the TV scene. I done did all that so it’s like, hey, Chyna, what’s your next big thing?”
About two weeks ago an unfinished track featuring Chyna rapping a hook found itself in TMZ‘s hands. Seconds into the song — produced by Mally Mall, the same person who made her ex-fiance Tyga famous — Chyna raps “pop that p*ssy like a pistol, yeah.” While it isn’t the “poetry music” she was reported to be recording, it caught some attention.
The snippet of the half-done song solidified the rumors that Chyna was pursing a rap career. Hopping to work with artists like Tory Lanez, Yo Gotti, Jeremih and Swae Lee, the former Rob & Chyna star is actually putting her debut album together.

“I told myself: ‘It’s either two ways you could go with this. You either go music or you could do acting.’ And I’m like, ‘uh, music. Hello!’ I’m already around it and most of the people I already know them anyway, so, it should be really easy for me,” Chyna continued in her interview with XXL.
“I feel like if I do need help or if I need mentoring I could call my friends like French [Montana] and Nicki [Minaj] or just whoever for advice and whatnot. I feel like it’s the right way to go,” she concluded.
When the 29-year-old says she’s “around it and most of the people,” she’s most likely referring to her time as a popular video vixen. She’s been featured in Future’s “Rich $ex” video, Belly’s “P.O.P” video, Tone Tone’s “Gold Rolex” video, and Yo Gotti’s “Rack It Up” music video.
She’s also close with superstar Nicki Minaj, which can’t hurt. Chyna has actually body-doubled as the Pink Friday artist before! Way after the fact, Chyna got a little cooler once everyone found out she doubled for Nicki in Kanye West’s video for “Monster.”

The leaked track was reportedly never supposed to be heard, so the session could have just been practice for the aspiring rapper. Blac Chyna, born Angela Renée White, says her true-to-self style as an artist is a vibe of rapping and traditional singing. While she plans to release her debut single before 2017 is over, she has not signed to a label yet — and she says she’s not rushing to do so.
Even without the backing of a major label or any mixtapes/singles to speak of, she hopes that her efforts are met with mindfulness. “My fears going into this are for people not to take me serious,” the D.C. native revealed. “Of course people are gonna talk — good, bad, whatnot. I would just like to say to anybody that is for or against [my rap career], just keep an open eye, an open heart and an open ear.”
