What makes everything better is the fact that she wasn’t just concerned about her son, but she was also upset that the celebrities were using Tupac’s image as well. Kendall and Kylie were selling at least three different styled shirts with Tupac or Biggie’s face on them, all for the low price of $125. Thankfully it seems like mama Wallace got through; as of right now, none of the shirts appear on their website anymore.
Kyle responded to the situation, posting this to her Instagram:
These designs were not well thought out and we deeply apologize to anyone that has been upset and/or offended, especially to the families of the artists. we are huge fans of their music and it was not our intention to disrespect these cultural icons in any way. tThe tee shirts have been pulled from retail and all images have been removed. We will use this and an opportunity to learn from the mistakes and again, we are very sorry.”
