"Follow your intuition"
Sorry, friends. Those who copped tickets for Big Sean’s Unfriendly Reminder Tour will have to wait this one out. Unfortunately, the rapper has postponed the 31-city tour.
Believing it’s important to “follow your intuition,” Sean said that, for right now, he has to stay where he is.

The Detroit native may have released the dates of the tour prematurely, as less than a month afterwards, he changed his mind. Instead, he says he will focus on new music. Sunday (Feb. 25) night, a slew of vendors sent ticket-buyers emails, letting them know of the rapper’s decision. The bad news came with a sincere note from the “Bounce Back” artist himself.
“To all my fans,” it began. “I’ve been in a deep creative space and decided I need to stay focused in the studio – so unfortunately, I am postponing my upcoming tour.”
“I learned in life you have to follow your intuition – I hope you do the same,” it continued. “Thank you for your continued love and support. It means the world to me. Trust, we are working on something special for you all.”
Unfriendly Reminder Tour would have featured Playboi Carti, Shy Glizzy, and Gashi as special guests. It was slated to pop off in Orlando, Florida on April 12. Miami, Houston, LA, Seattle, Minneapolis, ATL, New York, Boston, Washington, D.C., Philly, Cleveland, Ohio, and more cities would have hosted the rapper, before it ended in Toronto in June.
Fans were quite disappointed, with some dragging the rapper’s girlfriend Jhené Aiko into the equation.
“This ‘deep creative space’ better not be jhene aikido,” replied one Twitter user. “Someone check Jhene’s feed… see what she gonna be up to over the sumer. bet it line up,” chimed in another.
Rumors, Rumors

Just a few months ago, the couple faced engagements rumors. While neither artist is super forthcoming about the inner workings of their relationship, Big Sean was caught with some jewelry on his left hand… on the finger reserved for engagement/wedding bands. A photo posted onto Jermaine Dupri’s Instagram page Halloween night shows him and Sean costumed in ’80s apparel and a thin band on Sean’s hand.
These rumors came hot on the heels of rumors that she cheated on her now-ex-husband, producer Dot da Genius, with Big Sean. The couple announced their marriage in 2016, separating soon after, and officially divorced in 2017. Speculation behind their separation was plentiful, with a lot of people blaming the break up on Jhené’s relationship with Sean.
Despite the theories though, the “While We’re Young” singer insists that her and Sean’s relationship was strictly platonic back then, saying that she never disrespected her marriage with Dot da Genius. The couple reportedly didn’t begin a romantic relationship until after Jhené and her husband’s separation. “Never let a man disrespect u in any way… I only cheated myself. so glad to be free from all the drugs, depression and confrontation,” she tweeted at the time.

However, it is doubtful that this postponement has anything to do with Jhené. The rapper already revealed that he was working on a new project.
“Getting ready to drop an album that I’ve been waiting my whole life to drop,” Sean told E! News at the 2018 Grammy Awards. “I’m going on tour, that’s what I’m super excited about.”
