Hear what the BMF kingpin has to say
But definitive evidence of Big Meech’s thoughts and feeling on the show was released two days ago.
50 grammed a handwritten letter that had sent him from jail. The letter reads:
“Fif… given the success of your past creative collaborations on numerous feature films and particularly your television series Power, I feel that the two of you are the perfect team to tell my story.”
While Big Meech does sound a little deferential, he clearly endorses 50 to produce the BMF series.
“Loyalty is not just a word, it’s a lifestyle.”
“I have given no one permission to do any type of film on BMF or Big Meech, especially since we’ve been in agreement and under contract for a little more than two years… Loyalty is not just a word, it’s a lifestyle.”
So, it’s clear, 50 is a hustler, but has nothing but respect for Mig Meech and would not embark upon a project about the kingpin’s life without his permission. They have been in talks about the BMF series for at least two years.
The Take: 50 was in the drug game and know that you don’t disrespect another boss, especially one as big as Big Meech, whether he is in jail or sitting next to you with a glock. So watch out all you haters, because the BMF series is going to be insane.
