Up and coming and here to stay.
If you haven’t heard of Na’Tee, you have for surely been under a rock. This mean female lyricist has been in the rap game for a long time. Hailing from New Orleans’ 3rd Ward, Na’Tee can rap with the best of them. What I love most about her is that she stays true to herself. Her style has grown, but she’s never had to sex or gimmick herself up to bumble with the queen bees in the game.
Na’Tee has been featured on a ton of media outlets like, The Fader, RapRadar, The Source Magazine, MTV, and then some. She’s the only female artist in New Orleans that has won the most NOLA Hip-Hip Awards to date and continues to be undefeated.
After releasing “Switch,” a video she shot and edited herself that featured an instrumental by Timbaland, she received major attention. The Timbaland saw her video online and in less than 24 hours, he flew the raptress out to Miami’s Hit Factory Studio. Timbo and his management team gave Na’Tee a contract to sign but she declined. She said there were no hard feelings.
