Hip-Hop Love Stories
Rappers are known for having tons of women at their beck and call. At one point in time, it was very rare for a rapper to settle down with one woman. But there are a number of rappers who have given up their pimp card after finding the love of their life.
Gucci Mane found forever love in his now-fiancé, beauty entrepreneur, Keyshia Ka’oir. The couple’s 7-year-relationship stood the test of time when Gucci was locked up in 2013. Keyshia held it down, continuing to build her cosmetic empire and setting the rapper up for his 2016 release. Their story is one of many when it comes to rappers and their leading ladies.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z
They are hands-down the biggest hip-hop couple in the history of hip-hop couples. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been going strong since “’03 Bonnie & Clyde.” The privacy of this poem couple’s relationship only makes fans wanting more, especially a sibling for Blue Ivy.
Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill
It’s safe to say that these two are dunno, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that they were a fan favorite. They began dating in early 2015, a few months after Nicki broke off her 12-year relationship with Safaree Samuels. Just yesterday, Nicki announced that she is now a single woman, confirming the end of her two-year relationship with Meek.
Cam’ron and JuJu
The couple met in 2002 at an airport where Juju worked as a screener. They didn’t begin dating until 2007. They were off and on at first but then they got back together and have been together ever since. They soon became Instagram’s IT couple, posting skits and photos of them dressing alike. Cam has even made an appearance alongside his Cuban fiancé on this season of Love & Hip-Hop: New York.
