Following the “Jocelyn Flores” rapper’s death on June 18, police have arrested Dedrick D. Williams and booked him with first-degree murder. Subsequent reports revealed a judge signed off on two more arrest warrants in connection with the murder. Scroll to the end of this article to hear an audio recording of the 911 call for XXX.
Broward County Sheriff’s Dept. arrested Williams in south Florida on the night of June 20. Family and friends of X, born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, held a vigil for the rapper that same night, where his mother announced the arrest.
According to TMZ, Williams, 22, has prior arrests for cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence and aggravated assault with a firearm. “During an incident in 2014, Williams allegedly held a gun to his girlfriend’s head. According to arrest records, he has at least 11 felonies,” the outlet reported.
It is also said that a probation violation for a prior grand theft auto charge was slapped next to the 22-year-old’s murder charge.
