The rapper’s most notable legal trouble came in the form of a case focused on him being caught with an underaged girl. In November of 2017, after being accused of a heinous crime against a minor beforehand, 6ix9ine pled guilty to charges of sexual misconduct with a child.
The “Gummo” rapper accepted three felony counts of “Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance,” stemming from an incident that occurred that summer. While the age and name of the girl involved are still unknown, what we do know is 6ix9ine’s fellow Brooklyn rapper ZillaKami posted photos of Tekashi fondling the girl and claimed that she was just 13 years old. Seeing as Tekashi was over 18 at the time the photos were taken, he could have been locked away for up to 15 years per count.
