His Two Cents
After the extremely successful Straight Outta Compton, it seems like we might be getting more and more biopics about rappers in the coming years. The new All Eyez On Me biopic movie about Tupac recently came out, and some people didn’t like it. Some were more vocal than others, but 50 Cent’s assessment of the film really takes the cake. You won’t believe the rating that he gives it.
The 41-year-old Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson likes to post his opinions onto his Instagram account, and this time around he caught the attention of tons of fans. All Eyez On Me just hit theaters on June 16th, 2017, but it’s already facing some pretty big criticism. When 50 gave his review on the the film, he called it “trash” and gave it no praise.
In the film’s first day out, it’s sporting a 6.9/10 on IMDB, and a dreadful 26% on Rotten Tomatoes. It seems like all the people who saw the movie agree with 50.
On his Instagram, he claimed that the movie was “some bulls**t,” and he even went as far as to tell people that they should be using an Amazon Fire Stick to watch the movie at home instead of going to see it in the movie theater.
He took to his Instagram, saying, “Man I watched the 2 PAC film, that was some bullsh*t. Catch that sh*t on a fire stick trust me. LOL SMH TRASH.”
Some fans were offended and thought that he was taking shots at Tupac as a rapper, but that wasn’t the case. Thankfully some other fans knew what he was talking about, commenting, “He’s not hating on the artist, he just didn’t like how it was a film.”
“You a b**ch makin a post like this it’s not like you were asked was it a good movie you took it upon yourself to make a post about a lame lisp talkin f*****,” one fan said. Some people just don’t understand.
