He's got a history of being rude to her and her son
If you follow 50 Cent on Instagram, you’d probably think that he’s a great father. He’s got tons of photos featuring his pre-schooler Sire, who looks like the happiest kid on Earth.
Sire’s got a half-brother who was around when 50 was trying to come-up, and 50 seemed to care more about his career than that kid. Now that 50’s oldest son is a man, he’s ready to cut all ties with him even though he’s barely talked to him for the past few years. 50 Cent’s public feud with Marquise and his mother Shaniqua doesn’t make him look like a great dad.
If you haven’t been following the drama for the last few years, Shaniqua Tompkins is the mother of 50 Cent’s oldest child Marquise Jackson. He was born on October 13th, 1997, and he’s 19 years old now, so 50 is able to stop paying his child support.
50 Cent couldn’t be happier about completely cutting off Shaniqua and Marquise.
While 50 is all about his four-year-old boy Sire Jackson, the famous rapper has not been the best father to Marquise. He’s been known to publicly bash the boy’s mother Shaniqua.
Marquise tried to hit at his father in his debut track “Different,” released in early 2017. He explained why he doesn’t talk to his dad much in an interview with Rap-Up, saying, “It completely went south when I was probably like 10 or 11. He wasn’t really around enough. It kind of dwindled down as time went on and certain events happened.
“But then, as I got older, you start realizing things or you start seeing certain patterns and it takes an effect on your relationship with people. That’s what happened with me and my father. He’s still alive but I can’t tell you our last conversation or the last time we even had a dialogue.”
To add to their strained relationship, in 2016, 50 Cent started talking about how proud he was of a middle-school boy named Davian, who he claimed as his kid, even though he wasn’t. 50 Cent later said, “He’s not my biological son, but I treat him as my son. I just met him and it was interesting because the way he looked at me and he’s shaking and crying. [It was] all the things I wish my actual older son would.”
Marquise has demanded his father’s respect, but 50 feels like Marquise should be bowing down to him. 50 surely won’t get what he wants from Marquise after saying such mean things like this…
