This is no good...
2 Chainz is being sued after allegedly trying to welch on the payments for a Rolls Royce. The auto broker highline holdings group says that the Hon. Two Necklace stiffed them on over $18k after they secured a Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead for the rapper.
According to TMZ, Chainz and the company agreed to a price of $262,212, provided they could send the luxury convertible to him. Chainz agreed and paid them most of the amount, but apparently trailed off before completing the full payment.
The gossip website says that Chainz owed another $18,317 but when the broker got in touch with the rapper to finish paying off the balance, he gave them a hearty “nah.” Now they’re suing for the balance plus interest.
The stingy account belies the generous image of Chainz that we’ve all become accustomed to. As Atlanta’s very own dabbin’ Santa, he’s paid rent for struggling families and raised $2 million via ugly Christmas sweaters for his charitable T.R.U. Foundation.
A Slew Of Negative News
The news around Chainz has been less than positive as of late. He found himself write in the middle of Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma’s beef when Nicki dropped Remy disses all over one of his songs.
He said he still has love for Remy Ma and Papoose even though he was on a song calling them both out. The rapper said:
“We ran up on each other… Papoose and Remy. But it was all good vibes. I rock with Remy and Papoose. Me and Remy were talking about doing something before all of this happened. Papoose dapped me down. She was like ‘I don’t rock with Tity Boi no more.’ She didn’t say it like that. She was like ‘I don’t f**k with him.’ She was in my face and i was like ‘I love you though.'”
Chainz also said he wasn’t expecting Nicki to do what she did.
“I sent her a song. This is what the song apparently made her say or do. I originally only asked Nicki for a hook. So for her to do more than a hook, I wasn’t going to come back and say ‘You doing too much.’ I was very appreciative of it.”
He also hopes that the “Shether” beef will come to an end in the near future.
“I told them that I pray that they could come to some kind of resolution, because they’re two dope black women,” he said.
What Do You Think?
The lawsuit’s also not the first car-related trouble Chainz has been in in the recent past. His Pretty Girls Like Trap Music -hyping pink trap house installation caused a ruckus in the Atlanta neighborhood he placed it in. Gawkers and fans wreaked havoc and snatched up all the parking in the neighborhood. A similarly tinted pink car that was parked on the lawn was towed away from the spot, but whether it’s because 2 Chainz moved it or authorities deemed it against the law has not been released.
The residents are calling for the entire house to be knocked down, saying that it’s harmful to residents and businesses in the area.
