Toronto boy is still winning. Drake’s 2015 release of If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late has officially gone platinum. This now makes Drake the first artist in 2015 to have a platinum-selling album not just in the Hip Hop category but for all genres! This is a pretty cool feat considering artists are having a pretty hard time going platinum these days.

Drake is one of few artists nowadays who are actually selling albums. Pop princess Taylor Swift is the only other artist to sell over one million albums with her album 1989 which has sold over five million copies to date. Drake has sold approximately 1.007 million copies of If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late so far. Nice work Drizzy! Keep killing them!
