There’s no doubt that Chris Brown is talented AF. But when it comes to his character, he isn’t the most picture perfect celebrity out there. Following the 2009 domestic violence incident between Chris and Rihanna, Breezy has since been painted in a bad light. And no matter how good he does, people will never let him live it down. However, there’s one rapper who knows Breezy is all good.
According to Kodak Black, Brown showed love and dropped $10,000 in Black’s prison commissary account. Black, who’s been in jail since January 18 on multiple charges, including grand theft of a firearm, gun possession, marijuana possession, child neglect, and probation violation, was placed in solitary confinement after being busted for a three-way phone call. Once the rapper came out of isolation, he (or someone handling his account) tweeted Brown’s act of kindness.
“Fresh out the bing… that boy @chrisbrown just dropped 10 racks on my books, that’s love,” the tweet read.

The two collaborated on Breezy’s 2017 single, “Pills and Automobiles,” off of his 45-track album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon. During Black’s time in jail, three of his charges — possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, third-degree grand theft and child neglect — have been dropped by prosecutors, while two more charges were added — felony possession of cannabis and possession of ammunition by a delinquent. Black pleaded not guilty to the new charges.
