Blues Legend B.B. King Passes Away

Mississippi blues legend, B.B. King passed away on Thursday in Las Vegas at the age of 89. King, who’s career spans over 60 years, passed away peacefully in his sleep.

King has released 43 albums, won 16 Grammy Awards which included the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987, inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of fame, ranked No. 6 by Rolling Stones as one of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time, and achieved other countless accolades. He also signed on as an official supporter of Little Kids Rock, a nonprofit organization that provides free musical instruments and instruction to children in underprivileged public schools throughout the United States. King leaves behind 15 children and over 50 grandchildren.
