Westside Gunn

Westside Gunn, also known as W.S.G. and FLYGOD, is a rapper out of Buffalo, New York. Growing up in Central Park area of Buffalo with much of his family involved in rap, he had started rapping in his adolescence. He grew up and lost interest in rapping, and wanted to remain on the business side as his brother’s manager. However, after his brother and fellow rapper, Conway, was shot, he got back into the game. Gunn put out his first mixtape in 2012, titled “Hitler Wears Hermes”, and has been putting out music ever since. He released his debut studio album, “FLYGOD”, in 2016 under his own label, Griselda Records. A year later, Griselda and Shady Records inked a deal, making Gunn and his brother Conway the first rappers out of Buffalo to sign with a major label.
