The art to entertain has been described in many different ways, but Eddy Daviz takes entertaining others to a brand new level. Edward Efani Skinner III, professionally known as “Eddy Daviz,” is a American singer-songwriter, rapper and actor from Harlem, New York.

As a child, Eddy would perform at local talent shows just for fun out of his love for music. It wasn’t until his mother saw him perform one day that made her realize this could be Eddy’s calling. Amazed by the crowds' reaction to her son’s voice and charisma, as well as receiving the nickname ,“Baby Usher,” from his peers, Eddy and his family made the decision to take his talent to the next level.

In 2010, he began taking vocal lessons as well as acting classes in pursuit to turn his hobby into a career. By studying singers like Tank, James Fauntleroy, and rappers such as Biggie Smalls, Fetty Wap, and Tory Lanez, Eddy’s goal became to develop a style using his smooth voice and gritty lyrics to tell his story about relationships and coming-of-age in the streets of Harlem.

The young crooner has performed at many of New York's top venues such as Webster Hall, Santos Party House, and B.B Kings prior to its closing. He also opened up for R&B singer Mario in spring 2016. Eddy is now making a name for himself with songs such as “Scottie Pippen,” and his most recent single, “Give It A Try,” where he talks about his love interest leaving her current relationship to be with him instead.

Eddy Daviz has a unique sound and the music industry has no choice but to make room and prepare for the impact he is about to make on the world. The time for Eddy Daviz is now, so let’s cue the music and press play.
