I was born in South Jamaica Queens, New York, as Atisha “Nukstarr” Samuel. I was surrounded by poverty and drugs, which formed my passion in writing. In my early childhood days, I showed a huge interest in arts & music. As years went by, I began to lose interest in traditional arts and showed an increasing interest in music & filming.
At the age 13, my family and I relocated to Elmont, Long Island New York, which I then joined a rap team named Kreamo, with a close friend Kareem Harris. We would work on music relentlessly throughout our junior high/high school years. By 2009, I graduated high school and focused on trying to enroll in college. I put music aside for the next two years. Until enrolling into Cuny York College in Jamaica, Queens, releasing a mixtape called, A New York Girl. Without no real promo or guidance, the tape was heard only by a couple of friends and loyal fans.
Taking music more seriously, I dropped a cypher video with a couple of friends on YouTube, getting over 5k views. I also released a few more cyphers on YouTube, which in compilation, has calculated reaching more than 20k views. In 2016, I released my best work ever titled, Dreams for $1.00, which has excelled beyond any limits. In 2019, I plan to have my biggest music year, dropping Trap hits left and right, building my fan base.
