NYC may be cleaning up their subway cars, but that doesn’t mean you can’t see some great graffiti across the country. Here are eight locations to see some sweet tags.
Bowery Graffiti Wall, NYC
A graffiti mecca since 1982, the wall went legit in 2008 when the owners invitedOs Gmeos, Shepard Fairey and Lady Aiko among others to rotate pieces on the wall.
Bronx Wall of Fame
You’ll want to go see this one soon. The cultural landmark is set for demolition to make way for housing in the future. Bronx artists have been drawn to the wall for years.
The L.A. River
The LA River is maybe most famous for that great truck chase in Terminator 2, but it’s also a graffiti mecca for its big concrete walls. A popular spot for huge pieces.
