50 Cent’s Worst Pitch Ever Promotes Animal Ambition

50 Cent took to the field to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Mets v Pirates game last night, but things didn’t go as straight forward (pun intended) as planned.

As the rapper took to the mound on his hometown’s Citi Field I can’t help but wonder if this was all a publicity stunt to promote his upcoming album Animal Ambition. We all know that bad publicity is good publicity and this definitely had the word ‘bad’ in it.

If it was indeed a stunt to shine light on his promotional tour it is more on the daring side. Yes I know it’s just a first pitch at a baseball game, but this guy needs to hold his own and maintain that rapper persona. Throwing a weak pitch that nearly hits a camera guy doesn’t quite show off that “Animal” side.

But at least the SMS Promotions owner, didn’t let it get in the way of a good night. He even went to Instagram to make fun of himself saying “The sh!t almost hit the camera man damn, if you look close you can see them moving the plate. Lol#smsaudio #animalambition” alongside posting the below video.

Fiddy hasn’t released any actual music for a loooong 5 years so people are expecting great things from this new album, that drops June 3.

Don’t think this guy has been laying low though over the past few years. He has had more fingers in pies than Jason Biggs, bringing in more cash that most people would know what to do with through his footwear collection, fragrance link, audio company and new TV show on Starz Power, a visionary crime drama set in two different worlds – the glamorous New York club scene and the brutal drug trade. It premieres June 7.

Looks like it’s going to be a busy week for Mr Jackson. And this first pitch at least put his name back on ou radar.
