Despite extremely harsh reviews on Kanye West’s sixth studio album, Yeezus, Kanye set out on a tour that would silence critiques! With opening acts Kendrick Lamar and A Tribe Called Quest, Kanye West’s tour not only kept you on the edge of your seats waiting to see what the intricately designed show would bring, but silently wanting more. Separate from the concert itself, fans were also able to cop ill merchandise.

Following the announcement of his “last” album, back in the early 2000’s, Hov set out on what would of been his final tour, “Fade To Black”, performing not only new material from his latest album, but also everything from his catalog at the time. In addition, Hov also brought out all of Roc-a-fella and affiliate artists making it really seem like the grand finale. He even had his jersey lifted into the rafters.

Bringing The Fugees back one last time, comedian Dave Chapelle managed to bring the Jersey hip-hop group together for his Brooklyn block party/documentary, Dave Chapelle’s Block Party. Although the Fugees were probably the most sought out act to see, Chapelle also managed to get Common, Erykah Badu, and Mos Def to perform.
