Young Thug and Metro Boomin made quite a few smash songs together, but it looks like their relationship is going to be hindered for awhile, as the two have some serious tension to work out. This week, the producer had some pretty interesting comments to make about Thugger, throwing shade at the rapper on his social media. Metro wrote about rappers and the new trend of mixtape “falling out of the sky” every month, implying that Thugger was biting off of the trend he claims was started by Future.
Young Thug eventually responded to the tweets, addressing Metro directly asking who he was referring to. He then goes on to say subliminally say that he is like Michael Jackson, while Future is more like Tito as far as their sound and popularity. It’s definitely some heavy shots, as the rappers have been compared to each other in the past on social media, being that they both use a very vocalized style of rapping in their music. Young Thug and Metro Boomin probably won’t be making songs together anytime soon.
