The days of No Limit and Cash Money in their prime may be mostly behind them, but the two rap labels still go down in history as rulers of the South sound as far as hip hop goes. Both labels came to fruition initially out of New Orleans and San Francisco, and they completely dominated a good part of the late 90’s into the 2000’s. Looking back, both labels were filled with some heavy accomplishments, but only one can take the title of being the best.
