The 58th Annual Grammy’s had the country talking all throughout the evening, and it looks like even some of the biggest names and figures in the country were tuned in. Kendrick Lamar’s performance was extremely controversial, but received a ton of praise from not only the hip hop community, but a lot of the Internet. This actually included the White House, as they showed him some major love on their social media account.

The White House was definitely a fan of K. Dot pushing the culture and the fight against social injustice forward. They tweeted that he was “working to build a brighter future,” which says a lot compared to how a lot of America might see him.
Kendrick and the President
It’s evident that the White House and the President are very fond of Kendrick. Last month, it was revealed that the rapper met with the President in the previous year, where they discussed a slew of topics. Kendrick even revealed that he was very nervous to meet him.
