With Super Bowl season quickly approaching, we decided to pay homage to past Super Bowl MVPs who provided legendary performances during their heydays. It’s never easy to rise to the occasion, but these guys did so with gusto. We take a look at what some of the Super Bowl MVP’s from the 90s’ are currently up to.

Joe Montana – 1990

After hoisting his third Super Bowl MVP, Montana went on to play for the Kansas City Chiefs before finally retiring in 1995.

Now, Montana is dubbed the greatest quarterback ever because of his three Superbowl rings — which have been topped by Tom Brady — and seamless throwing ability. He’s currently in the Hall of Fame.

After pounding his way into a Super Bowl MVP,  former Giants running back Ottis Anderson retired in 1993 and became an influential figure through his motivational speaking and entrepreneurship. He has aided with community services and more.
