Last week, chaos ensued at Irving Plaza when a shooting went down inside the venue during the opening acts of a T.I. concert in NYC. While authorities are still working to seek out suspects, they have already arrested Troy Ave as one of the shooters involved in the incident. It turns out, that there may be another shooter, but it looks like things are getting worse for Troy’s self-defense case in the whole situation.
Find out what kind of trouble Troy may be in after the NYC shooting.
Troy Ave was arrested and charged with attempted murder and other charges after being seen pointing and shooting a gun on surveillance footage.
Irving Plaza handed over their surveillance footage to authorities following the horrific shooting at their venue, where it was revealed that the rapper can allegedly be seen coming out of the green room backstage. He is allegedly seen pointing and firing off a gun into the opposite direction. Troy has already pleaded not guilty to the charges, claiming that it was self-defense on his part, as he was already grazed by a bullet in his leg. Some authorities believe that he may have shot himself, but are still trying to figure out what led to the death of his bodyguard, Banga.
Authorities do believe that there were two shooters in the incident.
While Troy has been charged with attempted murder, they are going to determine whether he will also be charged with murder, which may occur after authorities conclude their investigation. Things aren’t looking too great for Troy’s case, as a new discovery has been made regarding the guns used in the shooting.
