Lil Wayne Signs To Cash Money Records

 It’s hard to believe Lil Wayne signed to Baby’s Cash Money Records over twenty years ago. Lil Wayne was a young teenager when he realized he wanted to be a rap star. The young Louisiana native kept working towards his dream and he did become one of the biggest stars ever!

Shorty after signing, Lil Wayne joined The Hot Boys hip-hop group. The Hot Boys consisted of Juvenile, BG, Young Turk, and Lil Wayne. The group went on to release their debut album Guerrilla Warfare. The album garnered one of the groups biggest hits, “Back Dat Ass Up.”
