According to reports, Nasir has invested in the $4 million Series A product, which is a protein bar that is based with cricket. Joining him in the investment is podcaster and best-selling author Tim Ferriss, as well as performance athlete and three-time female Tough Mudder world champion Amelia Boone.

Research says that cricket is an excellent and efficient way to get protein, and are actually completely gluten free. They are also said to be more sustainable than most animal food products, and are coming to the mainstream market rapidly.
