Some things never go away, even if we try with all our might. You wouldn’t believe what happened to Raekwon and RZA more than 15 years go. According to SI Live, the two were investigated by the FBI for possibly having a connection to two murders dating back to 1999.

The revelation came in the form of the cases of Anthony and Harvey Christian — two drug pins who ran a cartel for 20 years and were guilty in killing  Jerome “Boo Boo” Estrella. In 1999, the FBI decided to investigate RZA and Rae because a former gang affiliate by the name Brian “Banks” Humphrey. Gunman was the one who murdered Estrella and said he was paid for to execute the killing as a form of revenge for the hip-hop collective. Check out the document below.

“A couple of weeks before the Boo Boo shooting, Uncles (the street name of drug supplier-turned-informant Paul Ford) told Humphreys about a Blood named Boo Boo who just came home from jail. He stated that Boo Boo had robbed RZA’s little brother and had also gotten into something with the Christian brothers. Uncles was talking about Boo Boo and said that he had just come home and robbed RZA’s brother and that they would likely come after him for that. Humphreys believes Uncles was referring to members of Wu Tang.”
