These 90s New York Rappers Still Have The JUICE!

It’s so easy to downplay New York rap nowadays. When you have Kendrick Lamar spewing blistering rhymes out of Compton and Drake carrying an entire country from his back, you’re left to wonder what does New York have to offer? Don’t fret. New York has several veterans not named Nas or Jay Z from the 90s that can still rap with the best of them. It’s so easy to forget about the legends, but it’s hard to ignore their talents!

Remember this guy Busta? He impacted the game fairly quickly. His exuberance, energy, and hair made him something to really appreciate and look up to as a youngster from New York in the 90’s.

Busta is considered a big influence and is still a major player on features. His sharp verse on Chris Brown’s “Look At Me” made the new generation do a double take and reflect on his nastiness.
