Hip hop has seen thousands of album releases over the decades, but believe it or not, us stingy rap fans are constantly seeking more. While we’ve gotten a ton of surprise releases we didn’t even know about, there are a lot of albums that were meant to happen that still have never seen the light of day. We decided to reflect back and reignite the anger we have that these projects seemed to miss the mark of being released.
See the albums that never happened on the following pages.
Lil Wayne/Juelz Santana’s Can’t Feel My Face album
Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana were constantly talking about making their Can’t Feel My Face collaborative album, but even to this day we still don’t know if it was actually in the works, or just a hype.
The T-Wayne album
T-Pain and Lil Wayne were supposed to come out with a T-Wayne project together following their multiple collaborations, with “Can’t Believe It” being sort of a lead single, but things seemed to fizzle out after Jay dropped his “D.O.A.” song, which the public took as a diss to Pain.
