Shots Fired: Steph Curry Fires Back At NBA Legends

“It’s starting to get a little annoying just because it’s kind of unwarranted from across the board,” Curry said. “We have a very competent group, and we have fun when we’re out there on the floor, and it shows, obviously. After draining a 32-footer to win the game in a classic battle against the Oklahoma City Thunder last Saturday night, Curry silenced his critics with another dazzling performance. He scorched OKC for 46 points, and netted 12 three’s from distance. In addition, he broke the single-season record for the most three pointers made, a personal feat he accomplished last year.

Oscar isn’t the first one to take shots at Curry. 11-time NBA Champion and former Head Coach, Phil Jackson has been critical of Curry in the past. Recently, he compared him to Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, a talented shooter, but nowhere near the skill level of Curry.

With Steph on the cusp of a record season in terms of eclipsing the ’96 Bulls win total and notching another MVP, all eyes are on him and whether he can continue to rise to the occasion. SHARE with your friends.
