Weekend Recap..
This past Friday, Rapper/Actor Saigon released a few pictures via social media while on the set of his new video Nunya with guest appearances from DJ Premier and Lil Cease of Junior Mafia. Saigon has been gearing up for his upcoming album G.S.N.T III (The Troubled Times of Brian Carenard) set to drop this fall under his co-owned label Squid Ink Squad Records. Saigon has set out to gain support from his hip hop contemporaries and he seems to be off to a good start.
Earlier in the week, Sai previewed another single off of his debut album (Sinner’s Prayer feat. Papoose and Omar Epps) famed Juice actor (Q) who currently appears on the ABC drama Resurrection (2014). Listen Here.
Saigon’s album release date is September 30, 2014 with appearances from Memphis Bleek, Lil Bibby,Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane just to name a few. With major support from some of Hip Hop’s biggest stars and contributors, this may be the making of a classic Hip Hop album and a very good look for the New York hip hop community.
