Oh, I know you remember “Shake it fast… but watch yourself. Shake it fast. Show me what you’re workin’ wit.” That song was hot in 2000. His scratchy voice and Pharrell’s smooth lilt made this song an instant success. People clamored for more from the New Orleans rapper. But then Mystikal got sent up for sexual assault and extortion charges in 2004 ad the charges continued to snowball causing him to go in an out of custody through 2012.

Ja Rule was on top of the world. His cuts with Ashanti were like fire on the radio. Then he got sent up for tax evasion and illegal gun possession. Two years in jail while he was still relevant. This right when he was ready to drop another album.
