Nobody like a break-up. It can really mess you up. Some people take break-ups pretty bad. You can either use it as a sense of motivation to better yourself, or completely drown in your puddle of sorrow. When Big Sean broke up with Naya Rivera, his career was hanging on the balance. He released a very pedestrian album in Hall of Fame, but returned triumphantly on Dark Sky Paradise in which he dropped the ex-laden record “I Don’t F*** With You”.

Before Future transformed into a titan, he was enduring the sophomore slump. Questions pervaded the air regarding Future’s career after he dropped Honest. Many felt that after he broke up Ciara, he wouldn’t be able to return back to pure form. Instead, he dropped a string of mixtapes and had three consecutive number one albums.
