Kanye West is no stranger to controversy, and at times, he may hold the King crown for it overall. While he may do a lot of controversial things, and have some of the most controversial lyrics in the recent rap game, one thing he hasn’t been is apologetic. When Kanye writes something, he still to this day knows that it’s set in stone, and has no problem defending it. We decided to look back on some of his most unapologetic bars from over the years.

There’s no question that “New Slaves” is a highly controversial song in itself, but Kanye not only will not back down from defending the lyrics, he even thinks that the second verse is up for being the “greatest rap verse of all time.”

Kanye recently caught fire for his Taylor Swift line on “Famous” off of The Life Of Pablo, but he defended it to the end at a concert recently saying, “This is the song that broke the writer’s block for me, because it’s something I wanted to say so bad that they told me I couldn’t say.”
