Iggy Azalea finds herself in a lot of controversy over what she says, but the Australian rapper continues to claim outrageous statements. After comparing herself to Eminem and Elvis Presley in a Vanity Fair interview, the ‘Fancy’ femcee claims she sparked a change in hip-hop in GQ Magazine. Do you agree with Iggy Azalea? I was a fan of rap music growing up, and I didnt feel like there were enough characters that represented me and my situation. So I think [my presence is] needed. At the very worst, if I have a short-lived career, at least I could say I sparked a changethat I inspired some leniency in what people accept in hip-hop.
