Z-Ro won't stand trial for the alleged beating

Z-Ro will not see a trial over his alleged beating of ex-girlfriend Just Brittany. A grand jury failed to indict the Houston rapper.

According to TMZ‘s sources, the case was tossed because the jury couldn’t make Brittany’s version of events line up with the audio recording that she shared with police.

Via the gossip website:

“Z-RO’s attorney, Charles Adams, tells TMZ …There were huge inconsistencies between the recording and the written statement Brittany provided cops. He believes that’s ultimately why the grand jury exonerated Z-RO.”

“He spazzed out,” she said. “He put his hands on me.” Brittany said she slapped him and that he then beat her for the next two hours. Brittany also claimed that Z-Ro was “not the man I fell in love with” while this was going on.

“He had no soul in his eyes,” she added.

An upsetting audio recording of Brittany begging to be let out of the bathroom she accused Z-Ro of trapping her in surfaced in the months since Z-Ro’s arrest. But apparently that recording did more harm to Brittany’s case than good.
