Two girls and one guy walk into a studio...
…And make magic! From Da Band to Danity Kane to Day 26, Diddy has orchestrated some of the best new-age boy/girl groups. But as much as he’s known for creating great artists, he’s known for breaking them up. Case in point: Diddy — Dirty Money. The trio made up of Diddy, singer/dancer, Dawn Richard (formerly from Danity Kane), and singer-songwriter, Kalenna Harper.
You would think that because he was actually a part of the trio, that there would have been some sort of longevity with the group, but nah. Their one and only album, Last Train to Paris, was not only amazing, but it peaked at No. 7 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the R&B chart. “Hello Good Morning,” “Coming Home,” “Loving You No More” and “Angels” were hits on their 2010 debut album. Fans were expecting much more but in 2012, the trio disbanded. Since then, the two female members of the group have tried to make waves in the industry while Diddy has stayed afloat.
Who knew the trio’s Last Train to Paris would be their last stop.
