Get hyped, Black Ink Crew fans. The trailer for the upcoming 6th season of the VH1 franchise about a franchise has dropped and it looks like the season will have plenty of interesting storylines to keep y’all hooked.
At the top of the docket is, of course, Ceaser. The head honcho will spend the season trying to keep his New York location running smooth while opening up a new store down south in Atlanta. But he won’t be going at it alone.
On top of the fact that he’s newly single and will likely bring some new women into the mix as he hits the town this season, he’ll also have the help of Sky. The artist packed her bags and moved down to ATL to help manage the new shop.
Sky has some drama of her own, no doubt. She recently reconnected with her son after he did some time. But what should have been a heartfelt moment was ruined when her son called her out for using their FaceTime conversation as a prop to garner goodwill.
When Sky posted a photo of the pair talking, her son laid into her and accused her of being an absentee mother in an interview with This Is 50.
“We only talked one time in a FaceTime, That doesn’t make up for the conversations we never had over the past 10 years. This picture was took while she was expressing how sorry she was as a mother and telling me what she was going to do to make it better. Hearing that after so many years could only make me smile and that’s when this picture was took and published without me even being told by my own mother. What kind of low down dirty sh*t is that? I couldn’t even get a phone call in jail or a letter to show that she cared. And when i saw the episode on Black Ink Crew where she said she was writing me a letter that was never even sent, when I witness that with my own eyes on the screen, I couldn’t do nothing but shake my head and let a tear fall.”
However, more recent photos of the pair show them cheesing in the same room, so we should expect the new season to show how they got there. Not to mention, we can never count her rival Dutchess all the way out on the show.

Outside of this pair, the show is going to feature Young Bae considering heading back to South Korea and Donna moving on from an abusive relationship.
Teddy will be trying to help his brother wade through a potential case and Melody will have her hands on some renovations for the old shop while Ceaser is gussying up the new one. Then, there’s the whole matter of running the shops, which will surely provide some entertainment on its own.
If that’s not enough, there are several new additions to the cast. The trailer gives us the opportunity to meet Jadah Blue, Persuasion, and Alex. Check it out up top and let us know what you think. Black Ink Crew returns on Dec. 6.
