Tyga has the worst luck
Tyga claims to be a king, but we doubt Louis XIV had people busting up in his businesses and stealing his clothes. The only thing the “Rack City” rapper looks to be the king of right now is getting ganked.
According to TMZ, someone busted into the rapper’s flagship Last Kings clothing store in Los Angeles and liberated a few items. Los Angeles authorities say that the break-in occurred between closing on Friday and opening on Saturday. They have not revealed what was stolen or how much of it walked away.
Lawsuits on Deck
The Last Kings brand has been a target for scandal and controversy literally from its inception.
Tyga’s one-time business partner Chuon Gen Lee accused the rapper of lifting the entire brand from her and then welching on an agreement the pair had to split the proceeds from the label. She sued Tyga for $1.6 million and won. The amount Tyga owes has since been pushed up to $2 million because the rapper hasn’t paid his debts.
According to TMZ, Lee sued again and claimed that Tyga is hiding his profits from the company via a series of shell companies. Lee said that Tyga is bringing in nearly $450K a month and hiding it via clever accounting tricks to keep from having to pay his outstanding debts.
Still, given the sheer amount that Tyga owes and the number of directions he owes it in, we might have to consider the fact that Tyga just simply doesn’t have the cash.
The star was recently hit with a bill for $186,275 after a landlord alleged that he trashed a space rented out for the Last Kings line. The landlord successfully sued the rapper for damaging the property after he found the place abandoned with ink stains all over the concrete floor. He said that Tyga and Co. had painted the ceiling and doors with Egyptian iconography before bouncing on the place. He also said that Tyga and his crew had poured ink into the drains that led into a public sewer, which is an environmental hazard.
He alleged that the damage came to $75,000 and with an additional five months unpaid rent, he successfully sued his former tenant for nearly $200k. Tyga tried to argue that the building wasn’t up to code, but the judge wasn’t having it.
As if two lawsuits weren’t enough, Tyga got caught up in another one after an associate of his allegedly manhandled a process server. Not to mention that he recently settled another lawsuit over a $200,000 jewelry debt.
A Bad Year
Tyga is having the opposite kind of year from his baby mama Blac Chyna. While Rob Kardashian’s ex seems to skate through controversy, the former Jenner boyfriend can’t help but get bogged down in the muck whenever things go poorly.
What do you think? Is Tyga hiding money so he can continue to welch on his obligations? Did the “Rack City” money run out? Is Tyga the victim of getting too comfortable in his Kardashian-associated lifestyle? Or did his habit of buying expensive gold baubles do him in?
While we’re on it, the King of Gold Chains should have more than enough expensive jewelry to help cover his debts, right? Maybe Tyga really shouldn’t be trusted with money. Sound off in the comments and be sure to SHARE this article.
