This week has been heartbreaking for everyone as the public has learned of the deaths of multiple minorities at the hands of police officers. While many are fighting for the justice of these men, another tragic death was felt by the fanbase of a popular Baltimore rapper. The late MC was shot and killed a few weeks back, but the tragedy continues as his manager was just murdered.
Lor Scoota’s manager was killed this week.
Outside of the awful police killings that have swept the nation, Trayvon “Truz” Lee was murdered in Druid Park’s Liberty Square in Baltimore. He was reportedly shot in his upper body in his neighborhood, and then taken to an area hospital where he was unfortunately pronounced dead.
Truz was the CEO of YBS Records.
Truz heavily worked to promote anti-violence in his community along with his artist, Lor Scoota. So far, authorities say that the suspect who shot him down fled the scene, while others are refusing to provide any more details outside of that.
Scoota was murdered in his own community this past month.
Rapper Lor Scoota, whom Truz managed, was shot and killed in his own Baltimore neighborhood just a few weeks back. He was leaving an anti-violence rally in the city, which he spoke at, when he was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting.
