Snoop Dogg has always been about the California life; he might have just gotten out of a sticky situation because of it. A while ago, he was being sued because of an incident that ended with fans being seriously injured at one of his concerts, but his love for California may have actually saved the day. Wiz Khalifa, on the other hand, might still have his hands full…
Dodged a Bullet
Snoop Dogg just successfully beat his lawsuit that went all the way back to 2016. The situation unfolded when he was on the “High Road Tour” with his buddy Wiz Khalifa. A railing collapsed at the concert and several people in the crowd were injured. As a result, Snoop Dogg, Wiz, and Live Nation were all hit with a lawsuit by the 17 concertgoers who were injured.
According to TMZ, the judge dismissed the case after he explained that it was filed in the wrong state. The suit was filed in Pennsylvania, but because Snoop resides in California, the case was thrown out completely.
The Other Side
Apparently there were a lot of people who were injured after Wiz told the crowd to “bring your ass down here” because people started rushing over. Wiz, being from Pittsburgh, and Live Nation will both have to continue their legal battles without Snoop’s side being involved.
