The 32-year-old rapper from Nashville has been known to get himself involved in some sketchy situations. This time around nobody is sure that he was involved, but the police think they know enough to put a warrant out for his arrest. If he was involved in the shooting, he could be looking at some serious jail time. Why can’t this man stay out of trouble?
Just one month after he dropped his new Hot Chicken album, Jermaine “Starlito” Shute has his names in the headlines for a different reason. He’s wanted by the police in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee for allegedly being involved in a shooting earlier this week.
The police issued a warrant for the rapper’s arrest on different charges of aggravated assault and unlawful gun possession. According to the documents, Starlito is believed to have been involved in the shooting of a man named James Fletcher at Batter’d and Fried restaurant. The 36-year-old man was shot in his left thigh in the incident.
Making a Scene
The investigators said that Fletcher was exchanging words with two other men while he was walking into the restaurant. Later on, he was seen punching one of the men on the security camera footage. After that the rest of the fight went down outside the camera’s field of view.
One of the witnesses said that the man put a gun into his waistband just before leaving the restaurant.
