Stop the Power!
50 Cent is a man of many talents. The 41-year-old rapper and actor has been all over the place during his career. From platinum albums to hit movies, he’s done it all. He’s sold over 30 million albums over the course of his career, and one time he even dropped an insane amount of weight just to play a role in a small film. He has a passion for what he does, but why is his most recent show coming to an end?
50 Cent’s hit series Power is about to kick off season four on Sunday, but he knows that the show’s time is almost up. The show is about a New York night club owner named James “Ghost” St. Patrick who seemingly has it all. He lives a secret double life as a drug kingpin, and things can get pretty exciting.
Unfortunately, fans will have to say goodbye soon.
50 recently revealed that the show will end after it’s 7th season in an interview with ABC. “I was telling [the executives] in the very beginning, when they talked about how long do you think the series is going to last, I said seven. It’s going to seven,” he said.
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson plays a man named Kanan. Kanan is the nemesis of James St. Patrick, who is played by Omari Hardwick throughout the show.
This new season starts with St. Patrick finding himself in a rough situation… behind the bars of a prison cell. The twist is that he’s not even in for selling drugs; instead he’s been jailed for a crime that he didn’t even commit. To find out all the details, you’ll have to check out the show’s story yourself.
